Summary

Personal Echo is designed to run locally in Chrome. It does not use remote APIs, cloud AI models, accounts, ads, analytics, or telemetry.

Data processed by the extension

Personal Echo may process the following data only when you choose to use the relevant feature:

Where data is stored

This data is stored locally using Chrome storage on your device. Personal Echo does not transmit your writing, profiles, highlights, settings, or rewrites to any server.

Data collection and sharing

Personal Echo does not collect, sell, rent, share, or transfer user data. It does not use data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.

Google APIs and Limited Use

Personal Echo does not use Google APIs to access Google Docs. It works through user-triggered browser actions on the open Google Docs page. If Google APIs are added in the future, use of information received from those APIs will follow the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Deleting data

You can delete saved Personal Echo data from the extension's Privacy tab by choosing "Delete all data." You can also remove the extension from Chrome to delete extension-managed local data.
